Today's WIP, turning this
into this.
Strips of scrap fabric, sewn on to a backing. In this case a stiffish calico, because it's going to be a bag.
I shall add little patches of favourite fabrics here and there,
and then maybe I'll do some handstitching too, a fun project to do because you can make it up as you go along. I like to make things up as I go along, when I went to a school reunion a little while ago, I told my old teacher that I was a pole dancer. What fun. She didn't look at all surprised though, which is a little worrying. ?
