It's full sewing steam ahead, now the children have gone back to school- Oh, the glorious, blissful silence !
I managed to get this finished today for the Quilts for Katrina project.
It was inspired by Amy's lovely contribution and her recent post on redwork, in fact, everything thing that Amy does is inspiring, I am in awe.
The quilts are to be auctioned off on e-bay or etsy when completed and they look like they're going to be real beauties.
Lyn, it's lovely. I'm afraid I've been nothing like as productive on my first peaceful day - too delighted with the quiet. I've just been humming 'Silence is Golden' by Hermann's Hermits and doing a little re-orientation back into my world.

Red, Pink and white are my favourite colours and I have loved redwork for a long time. They are just bright happy colours I think. I love your work.

Lyn, your rock bun story creased us all up here - and got the children thinking terrible thoughts about edible missiles from moving vehicles!
