These dolls are wonderful! A knitted net tutu! I love the clothes. I can see why you have planned to claim one for your very own!

Oh- I've seen these before. My knitting isn't that good yet. But they are so quirky - lucky you!

I LOVE these dolls, but I haven't knitted one yet. Can't wait to see yours. I, too, am more than happy to lay claim to something as cute as this for myself if my daughter doesn't.

it's great to have little kids to make things for. ehm, yes. and if the rejected toys end up on your own shelf.... ^ ^

They are really cute. Lucky you...oops I mean Molly.

Dolls are great and I love a good cackle!

Thanks for the link. It will make a great present.

I'm learning to knit just so I can make this doll! Although I think the clothes are even cuter than the doll herself. Now I'm just waiting for the yarn to arrive. Can't wait to see your (I mean your duaghter's) finished doll!

Thanks for the link! I may just join the "Knitted Babe Along". I choose to think that I make my toys for my future grandchildren (far, far, future, hopefully).

hi molly...i have the knitted babes book too. are you using the fingering wt yarn and size 2 needles? it seems so small to me. i wonder if i could use worsted wt yarn and maybe sz 4 needles?
