This makes me a little bit sad (in the nicest possible way!) as my two grannies died when I was very young. How I would have loved to curl up on a big comfy chair with a big cuddly granny...
Oh, that chair is just like my Nanna. She died many years ago now, but she was Welsh and comfy and practical ( and sometimes we called her The Welsh Witch, 'cos we were sure she had eyes in the back of her head!).
I love your drawing. Do you mind if I print it, to put above my craft table?
awww that is so cute!!! i'd love to see what kinda material you'd have the chair... and we call my lil niece, nana.. (her real name is ananda)... cute illo~
My mimi had a big chair..I used to love to play with the flabby part of her arms and watch her brush her long hair and braid it into a bun. Funny what one remembers. My grandkids squish my arms now. No long hair, tho..just spike-me-ups..
Love the drawing, Lyn...
:o)
I love that drawing! It reminds me of that old TV show (might still be going actually..) in North America called The Big Comfy Couch. Definitely need on of those at home!
big. fat. and cuddly. are three very desirable and lovely traits to have in a chair and in a nana. sweet illustration!
