That Dr. Who is a lot sexier than the one on the show I watched as a kid!

Lovely afghan!

Delurking to tell you that your blanket is beautiful! What a treasure it will be for your family. Just beautiful!

cutesypoo

It looks wonderful! I like your blog it is very cute!

Marisa

This is so very pretty. I love the colors you used. I made one of these, but it turned out so super ugly. I was just a kid and had no idea you were supposed to make more than 1 square, so the entire thing is 1 huge square. Oh so ugly/scary. Your creation here is the total opposite. Beautiful!!

kelly

that is truly incredible... well done with all those ends!

Naomi Michelle

aaah...a fan of Doctor Who eh? hehe...me too...
LUV how your blanket turned out....
cheers,

Hello.
I was just as angry as you after my first blanket. Then a blogger gave me a tips. After each color join (!) the loose end of the tread into the part you just crocketed, with the needle.

I´m on my second blanket now!

mariecroquet

que c'est magnifique ! bravo

Rebecca F.

It has been so long since you've last post. I hope that you and your family are doing well.

It is beautiful and I am in awe of your end weaving skills! Cannot comment on your David illusions, clearly, he is My David, kindly leave him alone and stop trying to woo him with your clever crochet ways.

Nicki

But my-oh-my it's beautiful!!! Well done for sticking with it, I would have given up on the first square.

Lisa

I thought I was the only one who chrocheted to DR WHO!

linda

your blanket is awesome it has left me gobsmacked, beautiful! ps oh by the way.....David is MINE!!! :)

Beth Russell

Oh your rug is beautiful, that has given me inspiration to get on with mine.. although I'm cheating a bit doing plain colours in mushroom pinks, cream and brown, but with only 25 squares done, I have a way to go! And then the stitching up : (

Grandmas are very precious as they age, mine certainly was.

Dees

It is so gorgeous!!!WOW what an amazing job you did.Congrats!!It makes me want to start making one right away, but perhaps I should read your post again before embarking on such an adventure! It is perfect!

That is sooo beautiful! I'm a long time fan, first time commenter, but I'm delurking to say WOAH! I love it! And you haven't really done a sufficient job of scaring me off with the threat of weaving in all the ends. I'm still daydreaming about making my own.

Leta

Very pretty. I'm glad you finished all 972 ends and shared it with us.

Sonnja

It's so beautiful!
Kind regards,

Chicken Recipes

Cool blog, very informative and interesting. Would you mind if i ask you for a link exchange? Regards...

jen

hmmm.. i crocheted over the ends while i do the squares, which eliminates the need to weave. that's what i did with the babette, at least.

this does look great though - you know that, right? 125 comments say so, at least.

Solidia

I know it was a lot of work, but the end result is sooo very beautiful. It should make you smile every time you look at it. :)

amy

BRILL!

Alicia P.

Speechless.

You inspired me to make one too. :) Although mine doesn't look nearly as lovely as yours.

Fantasma

I stumbled upon this and I have to say that your blanket is amazing. I've yet to tackle a project like that. Congrats on the finish, erm, months ago, and god bless Doctor Who and David who depicts for providing such inspiration!

Molly
